Perennial Living is located in the serene Rosyth estate spanning 194,579 sq ft in total GFA and comprising 200 AL apartments and 100 nursing home (“NH”) beds to facilitate seamless transition of care. A key defining element of Perennial Living is its high level of care made possible by the on-site Perennial Wellness facility, an integrated medical and imaging, rehabilitation and fitness, and Traditional Chinese Medicine (“TCM”) centre.
Perennial Living also features a Clubhouse comprising a restaurant and social activity hub, an over-460 sq ft hydrotherapy pool, the largest in a residential setting, and a private GymTonic studio. The development will also integrate with a new community park of approximately 1.5 hectares. Supporting seniors to live a fuller life across the spectrum of care needs, the development is designed for various types of residents, ranging from the healthy and independent, those requiring assistance with chronic disease management or activities of daily living (“ADLs”), to those who require convalescent care, post-operative rehabilitation, dementia care and long-term nursing care. AL residents have options for studios, one or two-bedroom units that feature safety systems, senior-friendly amenities and furnishings, wheelchair-friendly layouts, private lifts and access to balconies, sky terraces and lush communal areas.
Perennial Wellness (Parry Avenue) will deliver comprehensive and personalised care through an integrated approach, combining western medicine, TCM and rehabilitative therapies, to support urgent care needs and ensure continuity of care, should residents’ needs evolve. The centre’s comprehensive care team includes doctors who will provide personalised treatment plans for chronic disease management, including conditions such as diabetes, hypertension and hyperlipidemia, as well as medication reconciliation and vaccinations. They also have access to on-site X-ray and ultrasound facilities and established partnerships with external radiology service providers, should CT scans and MRI be required.
The care team also comprises a skilled nursing team and allied health professionals, spanning physiotherapists, occupational therapists, speech therapists, dietitians, nutritionists and psychologists. Integrative rehabilitation programmes are supported by Perennial Wellness’ comprehensive rehabilitation centre, which is equipped with a range of specialised robotics-assisted and conventional rehabilitation equipment. These may be complemented by hydrotherapy and diverse range of TCM treatments offered within Perennial Wellness’ TCM Centre, helmed by TCM Board-certified physicians.
Furthermore, one to two AL blocks will be dedicated to residents living with mild to moderate dementia. These blocks have their own secure and self-contained compound to ensure safety and comfort. Residents enjoy access to their own gardens on Level 1, featuring elements such as a sensory trail, children’s play zone, outdoor musical instruments, a kampong-style landscape, a mock bus stop and spaces for reminiscence therapy. A dedicated Sensory Therapy Zone further supports cognitive and emotional well-being.
The Clubhouse will add an enriching dimension to residents’ lives, with a restaurant offering delicious and nutritious meals crafted by chefs and in-house dietitians from Wilmar International Limited (“WIL”)’s Central Kitchen in consultation with its culinary institute in China. The Clubhouse also offers residents access to lifestyle amenities such as the swimming pool, karaoke lounge-cum-movie theatre and multi-purpose room for games and activities.
