More than 1,800 solar panels have been installed on the roof of Perennial Business City, generating around 1,200 MWh per year – the equivalent of powering about 300 four-room flats in Singapore. The solar panels also reduce about 500 tonnes of annual carbon emissions. Perennial Business City features an ultraviolet germicidal irradiation system and offers the largest number of electric vehicle charging stations in a business park development in Singapore.
